Default Discounts on Ordered 2017 TTS and/or Euro Del?

Hi all, I am thinking about ordering a 2017 TTS. If you have ordered a 2017, can you please post any discount you got from the dealer.

Also, for those that have done Euro Delivery, did you guys get any discounts from MSRP?

Thanks in advance!

Previously told Porsche has changed European delivery program and it now cost an additional $3500 charge to the dealer which is passed on to customer.

The dealer won't charge you for the Euro Delivery, but the discount from MSRP won't be a large due to this extra charge that Porsche levies on the transaction. Don't let that deter you from ED, it's a really amazing experience that should be done at least once. I did it on a Turbo in fall 2014, was an incredible experience.

Only thing that annoyed me with ED was having to pay VAT tax to Porsche when placing the order, 19%. It gets refunded once the car returns to USA, but that was a large chunk of cash that went towards nothing. Others here have only had to pay $10k or so allegedly, but still kinda blows.

Thank you all for your replies and help. I placed my order for an ED today after a referral from a Rennlister. The discount is 6.5% of MSRP. The only downside is that it is a small dealer and does not get a lot of allocations. He says the car will likely be ready by July. I have gone with a Miami Blue for now but have asked the dealer to keep enquiring about PTS in case it becomes available before I have to lock. If PTS becomes available, my preference would be Voodoo Blue or Birch Green. I will post my build in a few days and ask you guys to provide input on any options I might have missed.

Thanks again,
F

If it's a small dealer and you really want PTS, I would ask about their recent experience/success in ordering PTS cars. It's not always a very simple process...

That's definitely good advice, thanks! I will keep it in mind if PTS becomes an option.

I think the '16 TTS should be less than the price of a '17 TT with the options you want. If not, just order a new TT the way you want it.
