Since Porsche's published Torque Specs are virtually identical on the TTS-1 and TTS-2, it will be interesting to see if Driving Reviews on the new model claim any noticeable power or lap time differences.

A little disappointed with the 991.2 specs. I thought they would go with 600BHP, not just a 20BHP increase. With the torque being identical it will feel virtually the same.

I prefer the engine cover of the 991 over the new one, cleaner looking. Aside from the engine cover the rear of the 991.2 is a very slight improvement, same with the front. I like the new steering wheel but I like the current one.. again it has a cleaner more simple look. My Golf R runabout has virtually the same looking steering wheel as this new one too!

Hmmmm.

Yeah the only thing I care about in the new one is the new PCM system. This makes my wallet happy since my TT is '15MY. I'm also not personally a fan of the confused grill. Everything else looks good, but nothing that would make me feel sad about not upgrading.

I'm happy with what I have unless they bring back a third pedal.

~$7K. Doesn't make much sense considering the deep discounting that happens on the Turbos already. more pressure coming with competition from the new 570.

Question.......What makes the 570 appealing?

The looks of the 570s. One magazine said there lots of 911s but few cars that looks like the 570s, maybe the reason is because the Porsche is more reliable and gives you more for the money. The other competition could be from the MB AMG GTS as well, nice car. I'd still take my Turbo S, it just does everything I need.

Am I the only one seeing a bit of Cayman lines in the rear of the coupe?

I sure can't see it....nothing at all like a Cayman at any angle.

Looks like a Lotus on steroids.....a bit too quirky looking for my taste. Can't compare it to the look of a Ferrari 458 or 488 on any level. The 911 is an entirely different package in that it gives the owner the ability to use something that does all the others do but without making such an event to the rest of the world in the process. That to me is priceless. The gen 2 is clearly just upping the ante again. Perfect.
