Proper sport bucket seats with harness pass thru are also missing, sadly.
I might just have to save myself the depreciation cost and keep my current 2014 and install Recaros and a half cage. Otherwise, it's hard to justify moving to the .2 since I've already put on H&R springs (fabulous upgrade!!) and an Alcantara GT3 steering wheel.
Also of note, no option for Alcantara steering wheel on the .2 either!!

Yep no info about a sports exhaust option for the TT/TTS or sound improvements made, but you would expect some improvement given what they have managed to do in the Carrera.
I guess we will have to await for more info from Porsche and/or Journo reports...

Looking at the specs on the .1 vs .2 it doesn't appear there is any increase in the max torque during overboost in SC. Both share the same max overboost torque figure of 750nms. Overboost is for 20 sec on .2 from 2250 to 4000 rpms. I will need to check my spec book for the .1 tomorrow and see if there are any differences in time and rpms. Note: .1 quotes 700nms outside of overboost but .2 does not mention a figure, so maybe there has been an incremental increase outside of the overboost range which is not being specified. The revised engine is quoted as having improved throttle responsive as well due to certain changes. It is interesting that they are restricting increases to torque beyond 750 which we know tuners can/have increased. Torque is generally used to shift weight to gain momentum, KW's take over from there and into the higher revs as per GT3 for eg. Too much torque at the wrong time will cause traction issues as well....
Note": The .1 is 412 kw vs .2's 427kw....as most would probably already know.

between the 991-1 TTS and the 991-2 TTS:
From the Porsche Website:
Power 991-1 560 HP @ 6500 - 6750 RPM, 991-2 580 HP @ 6750 RPM
Max Torque 991-1 (lb-ft) 516 lb. ft. @ 2100 - 4250 RPM, 991-2 516 lb. ft. @ 2100 - 4250 RPM
Overboost Torque 991-1 553 lb. ft. @ 2200 - 4000 RPM, 991-2 553 lb. ft. @ 2250 - 4000 RPM
HP = RPM X Torque in Lb.Ft. / 5,252
I doubt anyone driving the two cars would feel any power difference judging from
the specified Torque readings.
