Anyone near Tag Motorsports with a 991 Turbo/S with Center Lock wheels?
 

Hi. Anyone here live near Tag Motorsports??

I bought some OEM Center Lock wheels from them off a 991 C4 GTS. The customer was getting some new wheels so they listed his for sale.

The front wheels are the same as our 991 Turbo OEMs.

The rears are the same as well EXCEPT for the offset. 48 on the C4 GTS vs 56 on the Turbo.

Based on the calculation Alex at TAG says they should fit 99%. They will not stick out past the fender, but I want to make sure before they are shipped. The wheels have tires on them as well.
There is conflicting info on if the body wide body cars are the exact same. Some say the Turbo is slight wider - but it could be the internal components make it wider.

The bottom line is the 8mm offset difference on paper - but need to see how it looks on the car. There has to be a reason why the offsets are different - something on the car is different.

We were waiting for a Turbo to come in but nothing is on the books right now. I am not in a rush but thought I would check here.

I am checking to see if someone would go there if they are close (I live in Chicago) so they could put the wheels on your car to check fitment and profile to make sure it does not stick out.

Again - you must already have Center Lock wheels.

The 991 Turbo is 1880 mm and the GTS is 1852mm ..... Straight from the Porsche website.

that would make the Turbo 74.01" and the GTS 72.9"

the 8mm diff in the offset = .31" (the GTS wheel)

So in theory, the GTS wheel on the Turbo will stick out another .31" further than the Turbo....

That is what I Want to see on a car........
