Launch Control -- Never Used???
I got my 2015 TTS in Nov 2014 and have about 3,200 miles on it thus far (not very much as I live in a different state from my car). Curious to know if I'm the only person on the face of the earth that owns this car - broken in -- and has not used launch control yet? Why have I never used it? I guess I'm sort of "saving it". I'm so thrilled with the acceleration from a dig just flat out jamming the pedal that I've never really felt the need to use launch. And, I suppose the appropriate conditions and location have not presented themselves for me to feel safe trying it (but I haven't sought them out either). Maybe I'm just too chicken? ;-)
Curious -- anyone else that goofy as to never have used launch control yet?

I've used it once and will likely never use it again. I guess it proves the drivetrain is robust but there is really no use for it in my opinion other than to drop the advertised 0 to 60 by a couple tenths. So you have company on this one.

Me three. It's mostly a gimmick outside of road tests IMO. I'm sure I'll give it a try at some point but I'm going out of my way to look for opportunities.

You have to do it at least once. It is truly amazing, especially on good pavement. It's also a great way to show a passenger some of the capabilities of the car, since the only other way would be to take them on a hot lap at a good road course.

It's no gimmick; it makes a dramatic difference in your launch, drag strip or street. I've got 2K miles and I've done it maybe 10 times...and most of them recently, to test my AP3 with the Stage 2 tune.

I've only used it a coupe of times just to see what the fuss is about but its use is really not necessary. You could even call it unnecessary stress to the equipment as the car is simply ballistic flooring it from a dig. It's like nothing has a hope in hell. I can understand using LC at the dragstrip as you would naturally want everything working in your favor in that situation.

And I thought I'm the only one in the world !!
I have 5500 km so far on the clock and never used the Launch Control once. I long for it but I don't feel I need it so far, maybe because I don't know what I'm missing.

I used LC back to back 4 or 5 times on the base turbo at the Porsche experience center. It is thrilling, but I have a hard time figuring out where to do it in the real world without risking a serious ticket. it is amazing that the car can put down so much power and stay in complete control. No wheel speed or pull at all. I think you could even use it with no hands on the wheel.

To help me get what I'm missing, any idea how fast it accelerates 0-100 km/hr with and without Launch Control from idle?
PS I know it's a ridiculous question and I have to try the LC in order to experience the feeling. But I need to be safe, I guess I need to get out of the city to do so.
