Who likes the Stock Turbo S 20" Wheels?

Resurrecting this thread... It appears as though you could order the 991.1 with the Turbo S wheels painted gloss black. I'd really like my 991.2 Turbo S wheels that way from the factory. Certainly, I intend to find out from the dealer this week, but was curious if anyone on the forum can answer me now... There seems to be so many things that can be done when ordering a Porsche that arent detailed via the configurator...(I guess I should be happy that there are many options). Thanks.
There is a lot of info regarding the difference between painting and powder coating. The short version is that powder coating is more robust but a lot more difficult to repair if curbed/damaged. If you have steel brakes then powder coating is usually preferable because of the corosive nature of brake dust, but that can be mitigated with a ceramic coating on painted wheels. The main reason I chose paint over PC, even though it was more expensive, is that I track my TTS, and the heat cycling/curing that's part of the PC process weakens forged wheels, especially the thin spokes which is their weakest point. The secondary reason was the aforementioned ease of repair in case of damage.
If done proprely both ways will look identical, so it's more dependent on how you use your car and what you prioritize.

Yup, same with everyone else. Love the CL from the TTS.
I like the 991.1 TTS CL's much better than the 991.2's CLs.
Where's the option to paint them glossy black from the factory?
