I am a Racing Yellow lover but the Boss said it's too flashy and likes the conservative selections,, the price of marriage! Lol

I was 'allowed' to pick my color too....just was 'persuaded' not to pick something loud like Lava Orange...and asked to seriously consider what impression I want to give when showing up a business meetings...

personally I don't really care what message lava orange or racing yellow gives...those colors are awesome

Birch green FTW! Great daily driver.

Check out Park Place for a signal green TTS and Isringhausen for a voodoo blue TTS.

I am with you Attorney but I just do not want to rock the boat at home. Both my 996 and 997 turbo was ordered day one in speed yellow but the Boss used her "influence" to change the order (before it was finalized) to black (yuck) and Guards Red. The next P Car will be in the yellow family, no more silvers or grays for me.

ps. I just may need an attorney after that tho,,,lol

That is such a great color. Blue is actually my favorite color. Need to get a blue car sometime.

Default "Why does the Porsche Turbo suck so much?"

Forgive me for taking the question seriously...
1. It obviously does not suck at all or we would not be here (on this forum).
2. All colors are fine, so color is not the non-believer's complaint.
2. Exhaust note just not "look at me" enough.
3. Envy. Not that much at the track can prevail with so little effort and in stock form at anywhere close to the price of a 991 TTS. OK, the McLaren 570S will be competitive, but OTD prices will not be sub-$200k.
4. It just does everything well without screaming.
5. It is bulletproof.
6. Envy.
7. Envy.
8. There really is no substitute--at least not so far.

I think it depends on what you are looking for. I'm pretty sure my car doesn't suck.

Granted, I had to fix some missed opportunities from the factory, such as HRE wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, Sharkwerks exhaust, H&R springs...now I will gladly meet any naysayers at VIR.

For the track, you will probably want these anti-wind buffeting tabs, too.

We went out on a run this past weekend. I normally get looks and stares in the Turbo S but no one even saw my AG turbo in the presence of this Racing Yellow GT3. My car felt like an orphan, lol

GT3 is a very sexy car, more so than the TTS IMO, but it wasn't a practical choice for me.
