Default Track Day

Spent Thursday at the track. It was the first time out with the '15. I kept it in Sport Plus for the duration, but missed the Sport Design steering wheel with paddles on my '14 compared to the MF wheel in the '15. Outside of that, I had no other complaints. It was a great day with a variety of cars including a 2011 GT3 RS, 918, 458 Italia, 993 Cup Car, new Z06, Carrera GT, GT3s, 911s, Vettes, Ford Racing Mustangs and Lotus 211s. I had my Cargraphic cats and XPipe installed about a month ago and it sounded awesome on the track. Here's some pics and a short clip.

Impressive cars. Definitely sounds like a fun day. Would like to know how your '15 fared. FWIW, I run in Sport Plus on the track and never need to touch the paddles because the PDK is way faster than I am. My only complaint is the small gas tank on the TTS.

My '15 handled really well. I did accidentally bump the MF shift buttons a few times, which was annoying. There were a variety of cars and varying levels of track experience. The 918 was almost 20 MPH faster on the straightaway and is in a league of its own.

I also have a TTS with the MF steering wheel and neither I nor my instructor ever used the toggle switches or the stick to shift. PDK was well dialed-in in Sport Plus mode. FWIW, my instructor owns a 458 Italia and he never once griped about the PDK. The car is just so fast and the PCCBs so good that it made for an incredible day. I cannot imagine what it would be like to drive the 918!
