I like to let everyone know what the car is so I even made my plate describe the car.

Here is mine painted black, but this is the 997 Turbo S logo, about 50% larger than the 991 model emblem, and centered.

The badge needs to be centered and larger (like 991TurboS's in the above post) to work right.

IMO, Larger "turbo S" Logo looks much better in the absence of "PORSCHE" letters above.

I wouldn't do that on these. The car is much to wide. Best to leave it as is.

To each his own. My car only had Porsche 911. I thought the 911 below all by itself looked silly. I wanted more letters so I had them add the Turbo so now it is has Porsche 911 Turbo.

I deleted the model designation when I ordered mine so PORSCHE is moved down 3/4" or so and is centered when applied at factory. Don't need to advertise Turbo S, but as they say, to each his own.

Took me 46 yrs to get my dream car. I will let the world know it is a Turbo and it is badass, there is no substitute as they say

There is definitely no substitute. I waited a bit longer than you for my dream car, but am more Zen about how others view it. What is important is that I know it is very badass. Fact is that the vast majority of people have no idea of whether our cars are 991's of older model 911's. I don't need to prove anything to anyone.

That is the truth. I go to C&C and i might as well park in the visitor lot. My car gets zero looks and that is ok. No one knows.

The PORSCHE billboard is there because the tail (any dimension?) is so much bigger than previous Turbos. Nonetheless, I had to get rid of it. I kept 911 along with the model designation due to the available acreage. The whole bumper is covered in Xpel Ultimate and 911 turbo S is stenciled through the film. The only change I might consider is painting the letters black It actually looks better in person or while following in a car/truck. Most people don't even notice I removed PORSCHE. Maybe I should slow down....

Well put, the only opinion that matters about you is your own.

In the configurator I always just get the 911 option no matter which car I'm working on. I care not to go advertising which version I have - 911 is enough.
