So I just got my GTS and put it into storage for the rest of the winter. But I think I've decided that the GTS's satin black Turbo S wheels aren't for me. I know others love the look and I was wondering whether there was any interest out there in a swap for the standard silver/black ones? I thought if there's someone in the Northeast, we could meet at a midway Porsche dealer and have them do the swap. PM me if anyone's interested.

Btw, I know the wheel and tire sizes are the same, but we'd need to check the offsets to be sure they're compatible.

If the offsets are the same, I'll swap with you. I'm going to pay close to $2k to have mine powder coated black but if I can swap with you for free then why not?! I've been doing some google searching and I can't find any definitive information on what the offsets are for each wheel. I suspect they won't match since the Turbo is 1.1 inches wider than the GTS in the rear. Additional caveat: I live in New Mexico but I could ship you the wheel/tire assemblies and you can ship me yours in the boxes that mine arrive in.

Patrick - I'll check out the offsets today and let you know. Thanks for the reply.

My dealer confirmed today that the rear wheel ETs are not the same. Looks like a no-go. Bummer.

I was afraid of that. I'll do a bit more work, but you likely have the right answer.

Patrick, did your dealer provide the offsets to you?

They did not. They mentioned that the turbo has a wider track but not wider tires therefore the offsets must be different. It makes sense. I know from looking at the TT spec sheet that the offsets are 51 front and 56 rear. For whatever reason, the spec sheet for the GTS did not list the ET so no simple answer there either.

GTS spec is 51F and 48R. When I spoke to Wheel Enhancement a while ago, before I placed my GTS order with 5-Lug Silver Carrera wheels - not a fan of black either, they said you could put the rear TTS wheels on a GTS. However, the wheels would move inward 8mm but still clear suspension components.

That would seem to indicate that the GTS has a wider track than the TT?

That's pretty much as I understand it now. And spacers can be used as well. All in all, the switch can be done.

I mailed out my wheels yesterday to be refinished. Decided that gloss black was more to my taste and I wanted a red pinstripe as well. Best of luck finding someone to do the swap.

I am in the middle of this whole thing now.

The C4 GTS rear et is 48.

According to TAG Motorsports....this will be more aggressive on the Turbo S - since it is 8mm MORE than the 56 offset of the Turbo S.

TAG is going to put them on a Turbo S and check the fitment - but they say 99.9% it should be fine.

I have put 8mm spacers on my stock TTS wheels (black 5-lug classics) all the way around and it looks great and works fine.

The GTS fitment should be perfect if the centerlock business matches.
