Default GT3's being put to bed for winter - Turbo's still on the street?

I noticed on the GT3 forum that a lot of people are putting their GT3's to bed for the winter.

How many people here will continue to drive their Turbo's year round, even in the snow?

I thought about it. But mines in for the winter unless there is some unseasonable warm weather

All a function of the potholes around here. I don't intend to leave it sitting. But if the roads are swallowing wheels, it will spend most of the winter parked.

Funny, I just picked up my GT3 and it s definitely parked for the winter for no other reason than its too rough to use as a DD. I must be getting old.

But I've found myself driving my turbo more just to get my fix until the next time I can drive the GT3. It's also so much of a better DD.

Kevsong OT but how do you like the red interior? How is it in the summer? I've been toying with the idea of reversing my color scheme and swapping into a black/red combo.

Will use mine in the winter when the roads are dry and relatively free of sand. Have a set of TTS CL's with Sottos from the factory. Opticoated the wheels like the summer set for easier cleaning. Ran it yesterday after being away for a couple of weeks and got my turbo fix. After driving my DD Pan GTS, also on Sottos, the TTS is in another universe.

Colour me: parked until April!
.. as are 99% of my fellow Canuckians. Winter is just to severe up here.

I love the black/red interior. I think if it was all red it would be too much but the two tone is just right. The seats are totally fine in the summer with the top down. Ventilated seats certainly help. In debating painting the yellow calipers to red match the rest of the cars color scheme.

Obviously this question depends on where you live. Mine is all year round living here in Austin, Texas.

Suburban Chicagoland here, and since mine is my only car, I drive mine year round in all weather conditions. With the snow tires on it, I had absolutely no problems even in heavy snow last winter, and I expect the same performance this year.

GT3 RS is definitely put to bed (The GT2 is at our winter home in Cali) but as for the TTS- Sottos installed and will be using it as long as the roads are not war ridden with potholes.

I lived in Edmonton for 25 years. Come on! If I could drive an M3 cab all year you can definitely drive a Turbo!
Kidding aside, if you have something else to drive, why not?

It is funny after driving the GT3 I've been using my TTS as a daily...it's all relative. Before that I thought the TTS was too firm and was using the Macan.

I have stored my new TTS with less than 300 miles for the winter. Disconnected the negative lead on the battery since I have no ability to keep it charging while in storage. Covered with a Covercraft Form-Fit Car Cover.

I hope it's a short winter this year.
