Burning Brakes
There is a butt for every seat. Someone probable thought it was unique and different. I liked the interior other than the cognac leather color on the seats which I did not think went with the red and black colors on all other interior surfaces.

I have to wonder what kind of deal he got then. Even more interesting will be what kind of hit he will take in 6 months to unload that thing if he really turns cars over this quickly. Granted he may not care about the money but I bet it will be huge......

Burning Brakes
Any guy who buys exotic cars every six months has money to burn. I doubt the buyer cares much.

If he can afford it, it makes him happy, why not. This is America. Clearly, for me, these are probably the best used cars to buy after the depreciation hit for a nearly new car. BTW, some guys flip nearly new Ferraris and make money.

Egh not so much. It's pretty rare to flip s Ferrari and make money. I'm on my second Ferrari in 5 years and they take pretty big hits too although less than Porsche for sure just based on number of available units. The rare Ferrari that make money is like the rare PTS GT3 RS 4.0. They exist but it's so rare that not really part of this conversation for a way out there spec and color scheme on an otherwise easy to get car.

^you are right. When you buy a new Ferrari you sign a document that the dealer has a right to buy it back at MSRP. As a percentage my Ferraris have depreciated less than new Porsches.
Odd color combinations sometimes bring premiums. Some times bring a$$ whoopings. I guess we will see.

In Europe, yes. Not my experience with 458's in the US. It was common with the 458's from 2010 through about 2013.
Very low mileage 458's were being flipped and sold above list during those years. I do agree now that a 458s are closing in on 5 years of production, and the new 458M is expected to be available in the fall, now the 458 prices will continue to drop.
