Default 992 Turbo S

It's closer than you'd think.

The 992 chassis will be launched at the LA Auto Show this fall with the updated Turbo S to follow.

Nice, so all the fine folks who JUST bought a 991.1 Turbo or 991.1 Turbo S are about to see some added depreciation. Not cool.

I hear the crying now. I'd cry too if I just dropped $200,000 and saw this.

Don't start selling your cars yet.
Look closely at the pictures, especially the shot of the rear end. That car has a fair amount of camo on it.
Wait until the intro to judge it.

in reality the new version would be 2 to 3 years before we saw them in the Turbo model anyway, and plus if you never bought one because you are always waiting for the new facelift, you will never buy one because these cars are tweaked constantly. I have no regrets buying a 2015 when the 2014 was the first 991 Turbo available, in fact I wish I had pulled the trigger on day 1 of availability.

Now, if Mexico Blue became a standard color option, I would cry.......

Not loving it. The only thing I'd want from the 991.2 is the 918 steering wheel.

Agreed. Looks nice but I'll stick with my 991 order.

P.S. Any idea why some are calling this the 992 instead of the 991.2?

I'm old enough to see that show when it was new.

I don't see much difference. Will stick to 2015 991 TT, which I am expecting at the end of the month.

Is it just me, but don't all Turbos have a 6 cylinder turbocharged engine? Why the need to call it a 992? Unless all models are getting turbos now as in Panamera and Cayenne? That part really confused me. I sure hope my turbo cab has 6 cylinders and is turbocharged when I pick it up next week!
