SharkWerks 991 Turbo / S Exhaust
Hi guys,
We've had a few inquiries about our exhaust for the 991 Turbo and Turbo S, and just wanted to let everyone know it's now available. Here's a little video:
Many of our customers who had the 997.2 Turbo liked our old exhaust and wanted a similar sound for their 991 Turbo. Many people felt the 991 and 997.2 Turbo were just too quiet, especially considering the super car performance combined with vacuum cleaner-like stock sound.
Our design is as straight-through as possible for maximum flow: we avoided merging pipes or other restrictions by taking OEM-sized tubing and had it mandrel bent in place of the original muffler. The system is still quiet when cruising, at freeway speeds, and when you aren't trying to make a racket. You get more turbo noise, some popping and exotic sounds when you are driving it hard.
Our system uses and we recommend keeping the original Porsche catalytic converters, for reliability and to avoid check engine lights. Also there are no federally legal aftermarket catalytic converters, so while they may add some performance benefits, there are a lot of drawbacks. Replacing the muffler is the only 50-state legal solution. If you really want maximum performance, you could mate our system with many of the aftermarket cats on the market, but this exhaust by itself will not hurt performance and will probably give you the sound you want and without any headaches.
If you have any questions, we have more info here on our site.

But hang on Dan we saw Fabspeeds youtube with Joe the genius waving a blind mans stick around saying your pipe lost power against his own pipe!!! I mean he says "pictures don't lie folks" just like the pictures of his John Wayne special, you know the one with all the shotgun blasting going on. Wow what a really cool system! I bet there are so many 991TTS owners just fighting over his awesome system and he is rolling in sales
