Zack -

Which interior does your car have? Looks like red, but darker than Garnet... Thanks in advance!

As mentioned earlier, we can't help but notice that one of the initial reactions to the color of our 991 Turbo S is to compare it to the Grey Black of the 997.2 GT3 RS.

After all, when viewed separately, these colors do seem very similar at first glance.

However, when placed side by side, the differences begin to reveal themselves.

Grey Black tends to have a bluer hue, even purple in some lights, and actually contains a minute amount of metallic flake to the finish.

Meanwhile, Slate Gray is non-metallic, and takes on a greenish tint in most lights.

And... we like ours more. Which is, of course, the most important differentiator of all.

For more information on the AWE Tuning 991 Turbo S, head over to our project gallery on the AWE Tuning Website, right HERE.

Really beautiful color. I think if I order a TTS this is the color. Love the McQueen heritage.

So what us in fact the PTS color code? It's Slate Gray right?

Both are great colors and I'd love to see them side by side in person. Another difference (from the photos) is that grey black is darker, as its name suggests.

Zack, what do you guys do with your project cars once you are done modding them?

We will be installing an AWE system on a 991 Turbo shortly. We'll be sure to post up some images.

Chris...given it's a late MY2014 I would say 'Garnet Red'.

I love the grays. Now I am confused..Agate vs. Grey black vs. Slate gray. I am thinking Grey Black.>>.
Lucky post as I get ready to build my TTS...

I had a state grey TT, loved the green hue.

My first 997 TT was slate with terra cotta interior. Should have kept that car
