Looks like it. He is either easily satisfied or just wasn't told about the "compromises" prior to parting with the $. I can just imagine the effects that is having down the line. Doesn't look good....obviously not much R and D going on here.

I think FS can safely say this one is their "John Wayne Special". The one to satisfy that little cowboy inside. Hmm....I wonder what the band-aid will be this time?

Why would anyone want that? What causes something like that to happen? I have never heard explosions like that from an exhaust.

Yes,991 Turbo S will pop like that,mine does.However ,the stock system makes it not as loud.

That is unburned gas in the cylinders burning off.It is normal on HP cars,my Viper does it also...

ALL am exhausts sound ****ty on a 991tt. Some less or more ****ty than others, but all ****ty, imho of course.

^ I'm weeding through them steadily as they appear on you tube out of interest only, but these two are clear standout fails with ridiculous shot gun blasting going on. I mean what are these owners thing or what are they on?
The FS "JWS" at least sounded bad *** in note at wot but with all that shot gun firing going on...well that just kills it completely dead as any form of proposition. The CG on the other hand is just an xpipe, has not as many shotgun blasts as the FS "JWS", yet sounds truly woeful at wot..like an old diesel being thrashed..so it has absolutely nothing going for it....zip zero nuthin. Hmm. If there was a contest between these two disasters then I would struggle to say which one has more fail. Maybe a new thread on AM exhaust fails for 991tt is in order? It looks like anything with out cats is destined to be a fail...as a given.

Just touching on your comment again, the same could be said about 997tt (or even any car for that matter) and I think it comes down to a few factors which would determine whether a system is fairly entitled to receive a majority vote as being a genuine improvement on stock.

That said I would agree with you that the stock system for this car does sound better than ANY stock tt to date. However, from what I've seen and heard so far from the AM offerings (for 991tt) it appears the snap crackle and pop which Porsche has made a feature has unquestionably become a major issue/obstacle for the AM boys to contend with.. in much the same way the droning issue was a major problem for 99.999% of the 997tt systems iykwim.

I hear you on the anything goes in that sector of the world but having all that shotgun blasting going on really creates the potential for a full on gun fight with the locals. The car (and driver) would inevitably be left riddled with holes at one point....

But the Aventador certainly doesn't come with any of that ridiculous shot gun blasting. I mean who in their right mind would put up with that or, think it is "cool" for that matter??
