Are these wheels suitable for track use? I had HRE P44SC's on one of my GT-R's and the monoblock wheels are obviously VERY strong. But these are a 2-piece wheel with what appears to be a new "hovering" spoke design.
I don't plan on tracking my 991 TT with regularity, but it will see some sessions at tracks like Sebring, Roebling, RA, Daytona, etc. in place of my regular track car. I'd love a set of these with the stock P-Zeros on them. But I don't want any questions about on-track durability. S. |

However, for serious track use, we'd recommend our Series R4 which includes the R40 and R43 - these wheels are lighter than the Series RS1 (weights for the RS1 wheels coming soon). |

Excellent question. The 3-piece Series RS1 is track-friendly and capable to handle the stresses and abuse of weekend track days - even with the floating-spoke design.

So basically, should I buy a set of RS1's and decide to do a 2-day event, I need not worry about the durability of the wheels on-track.
