Default Pulled the trigger

On order, build slot date of 7/20, lock date 6/6, delivery early Sept. Guys let me know if you think I missed an option I should add. I thought about the Burmester but I'm not a stereo guy and especially on this car with top down most of the time probably not worth it, at least my thoughts. First ever Porsche so this should be alot of fun:-) I debated for weeks on the exterior color, either black or yellow so opted for something unique and didn't want to spend all my time washing the car so went with yellow. Not worried about resale either, probably pass it down to my son but he's already wanting to "line em up". He bought a '14 black edition GTR 6 months ago.

You may want to consider adding the parking sensors with reversing camera and the adaptive cruise control, both of which have gotten rave reviews from other owners.

I may be out of line here, but if it were my order, I would go for the Espresso natural leather and a brown top. And I had a Pastel Yellow over black 993 with black turbo twists, which I loved in spite of being teased about some bumble bee thing. The natural leather is very nice and thicker than their "regular" leather (see Eduardo's multiple informative posts).
I have read good things about the adaptive cruise control but no experience there.
Not a bad choice for a first Porsche

Tks all! The premium package includes parking sensor and back up camera and because I live in an area with mainly 2 lane highways and lots of twisties and rolling hills no need for adaptive cruise, I'd hardly ever use it.

You might want to go with Carbon Fiber Roof ... I got the glass sun roof ... but if not I would have gone with the CF roof (not sure how you can order it though).

I did not get stitching on the steering wheel ... something I now regret ...

Also I assume you went for leather on the door and dash?

Foot well luggage net is nice for maps and such (can fit a few bottles there).

I do love the Burmester audio ... but with a cab might not be a big point.

I also got illuminated CF door sills ... I realized now I could have lived without that

Seat Ventilation also nice (perhaps it's in the combo packet now?)

I also love the Adaptive Cruse Control ... super nice in rush hours, and in the left lane on autobahn ... I can totally see this will prevent me rear ending somebody in the future (as well as saving a ticket or two).

Finally Voice Control ... might not see that important ... but due to the location of the PCM screen, I feel this is more of an safety feature than anything else.

I did not go crazy with the stitching, the default red/black had what I wanted (except the steering wheel as mentioned).

Other than that ... bold color choice (but yellow with black roof/interior is def. stunning).

Keep in mind it will also alert (and break, rather hard for you) if you get too close to the car in front ... this is the feature I love the most. Might even help you in the case an animal or car crosses over in your lane (when it's on) ...

I decided not to do deviated stitching on steering wheel, mainly due to it's a different pattern and oils on your fingers/hands only matter of time before it discolors and cleaning would be next to impossible. I did add Power Steering Plus to my build.

Even without cruise engaged?
