Happy to report after just 35 miles, the noise has stopped.

So what is it that is making this engine beeping noise?

Apparently it's some sort of oil relief valve that sticks initially.

It's what I was told as well. It can be clearly heard both inside and outside the car, coming from the engine bay.

Mine went away in stages over the first 100kms (60 miles) and now it's 100% gone!

A bit unrelated but how many miles are on the car when they come off the truck?

I wonder if these "beeping" cars are making this noise when they are tested in Germany.

Either in Germany or on the docks as it was Porsche that had ordered a replacement part, not my dealer.

Reviving this from the dead to say that my 14 TTS started beeping with 26k miles on the clock. The air oil separator was replaced under warranty, but just in case anybody else is searching for the solution like I was, this isn't just a new car issue.

(before sorry for my english)

on my 17 TT I have from the start a small noise on each side of the car in the rear just on rear of the rear wheel

after some investigation under the car the linkage of the variable geometry blade seem "free" on idle

try the "sport mode" on idle this noise is deleted and in normal mode is became............(electric actuator of have a other position an reduce free play)

i think this linkage is ingenired to absorb variable length on high temperature in this area
