Porsche fire extinguisher
Has anyone had a Porsche fire extinguisher installed by the dealer in their 991 TT/S ?
You need one for participation PCA DE events and my dealer can't seem to provide me with any info....
Not really interested in aftermarket, although I did reach out to Brey Kraus who who make fine pieces, but have yet to have anything for this application.

I have one fitted from the factory in my car -- on the presumption that I'd need/want it for DE participation. Not sure if that helps but I can answer questions or take pictures of it if you'd like.
Actually, not to hijack the thread but I was a bit nervous that it might not qualify: I've read somewhere that you need a minimum 2.5lb unit for PCA DE and this one is only 2.2lb capacity...but since you're an instructor and you are asking does that mean the OEM factory unit does in fact meet the requirement??

I can't speak for other regions, but the OEM extinguisher satisfies PCA DE requirements for my Rennsport Region and would hazard a guess to say yes, OEM will satisfy all PCA DE regions requirements for a fire extinguisher.

Private events are controlled by the individual event coordinator, but it's never a bad idea to have one when participating on track.
Had OEM in last car (GT3) and never an issue.
Based on my experience using both, would prefer to stick with OEM this time.
