I've been waiting to own a 911 turbo for the last 15yrs, I think nothing will change my mind. I mean really, what else is there?

Right. I can tell you one thing for sure though... when mine shows up, it's going to get one hell of a shake-down. I've taken notes on every little thing drivers have observed in this forum and others.

FWIW, the 991S owner previously cited finally had his car taken back by Porsche. Overall I'm feeling a bit reluctant to purchase another Porsche in the future given your experiences.
Your point of view is understandable. However, with early adopters it is just the "Luck of the Draw" with these types of issues unfortunately. Could have gotten the chassis ahead or behind the one he has now and have been in total Porsche Bliss. It's the ****s, it really is.

Agreed on the concept that Porsche apparently is still working out the details on the production of the 991. My comment is focused on the customer experience when a problem is found that cannot be easily fixed (eg, Joe's car and that of Nick Mason).

Seems odd. I thought they put the new diff in and changed the wheels before and the vibration was still there? What did they do with the alignment? Or are they not saying?

Either way, good to hear you finally got a positive result.
