Default Enlarged Rear Fender Intake

Everything is shut down in Atlanta because of the ice. Got bored and ended up in the garage to tinker.

Hope the ice melts soon so you can stop tinkering and start driving. That does not look good. Sorry.

The issue is that piece of plastic in the first place. Carbon fiber, painted or anything other than what Porsche did would be better. All the engineering Porsche put into a 200k car and they decided "yes let's put a piece of cheap plastic here." The 993 Turbo S with the intake sculpted in the metal and painted was perfect. Or, if you feel the intake needs an accent against the lighter color car make it carbon fiber or no cost painted black.

I don't want to hijack the post but my list of issues with the 991 turbo:
No manual; I know it's a dead issue but irritates me.
No center lock wheels in black.
Lack of a proper multifunction wheel. See the one in the 918. It has the correct paddles and the functions.
Cheap plastic bits most notably the fender intakes and rear valence between the exhaust.
Unpainted lower rockers.

All but the manual will become options I will pay extra for down the road so Porsche can extract $218 out of me.

Hey man, I know everything is so subjective and although it is not my preference in terms of the look, so only your opinion matters here. I am just wondering what it is exactly that you did? Did you just extend the "look" with black film or something or did you actually make the cutout larger?

Just not feelin' it, but full points on originality and wearing it on your sleeve..
IMO it's similar the lightning bolts and horse decals under the rear wing and red lip lettering on the front spoiler.

I used PlastiDip. If I get bored of it I can just peel it off.

Have you tnought of designing the film to protect wide body rear quarterse in remembrance of the 70-80 widebodies. I think the black would look badass on a white tt.
