The light on mine blinds also on start up...It Did..You have to hold the button to make sure the spoiler is fully down for a minute, then it will go out...Then it turns off...

I play with the spoilers once in a while or show people, but roll with them as they were designed to do..

Agreeded, damaging that front spoiler would be very expressive and Porsche would not pay for that..

The button blinks until the front dam extends or retracts fully. The rear goes up or down in a matter of 2-3 seconds. The front takes about 10 if you are doing it manually. A flashing button indicates an incomplete raising or lowering cycle. Try raising or lowering the front/rear with the car in accessory mode. You can hear the front retracting or extending, and when that pump sound disappears, the button ceases to blink.

Hi there,
No, unfortunately I wanted to put the front out but the rear down and she doesn't work like that, mores the pity. Also we all need the stainless mesh in the front behind the baffles and no one makes them yet... I can't deal with the TechArt since to me it seems like some Dali artwork... neat but too much. However ROTEC carbon will soon have what we really need... Carbon diffuser in the rear and carbon side air intakes too..........

Just learn to be at east and leave the spoilers extended....

+1 Porsche is spoiler crazy. Example: Panameras have them.

it was possible to remove the spoiler on 997 models, can we assume it will be possible for the 991?

I drove the car home in a snowstorm and it's killing me to keep my new 200k toy in the box (garage) as the weathers been brutal in Michigan. But the spoiler looks great even down I think! From the drivers seat I don't think I could tell if it were extended or not ... Will have to put more than my 90 miles on it before this is concluded!

Hey Guys,
Yes, my spoiler is extended all the time... it's just the usual and still not nearly as low as the 996 or 997 with springs! There's a lot more room before scraping the front spoiler too... I think it's some getting used to, for myself that is, but she's a new beast and first it's getting over the fear of such speed compared to my 996 and 997 Turbo's.... Definitely turning a page!

Richard
