991 tt owners , anything you would change in the car?

Hey guys ,

This new 991 tts is being amazing and exceeding me expectations !! I'm extremely happy with it but if I could wish something was different would be that the car sit a Little lower (less gap) closer to a GT3 height from factory :)

What you guys think ?

Turbos are known to sit a little high from the factory ever since the 996.
I am not sure whether there's an aftermarket option yet to make it sit a little lower, since the car is so new,but I am positive there will be in the future. :)

One of the strengths of the Turbos over the GTs is the daily-drivability of the Turbos, which includes clearing speed bumps and driveway lips and being able to handle parking lot ramps and similar clearance challenges. So I am happy that the Turbos are higher than they might otherwise be.

<<-- On Paradise Ace, expected/estimated (by me) in Davisville in the next day or so.

I agree with your point :) the solution for that would be a GT2 when it comes out hehe ! I'm really happy with the TTs will keep that one for a while

Yes it's true !! But I will try to keep it original :)

I wish it was more aggressive. The original turbo of the 80's stuck out, from 2 miles out you knew it was a turbo. They should have turbo-ized it based on the current GT3 rather than the base 991.

Ride hight looks perfect to me especially when the car is on the move. Being critical of a parked car's ride height could be applied to many high end cars. One could also criticise a 458's ride height when the car is parked too. Best just to drive it and, be able to drive it and enjoy it without scraping everything instead of worrying too much about vanity when the car is parked. These cars all suck down to the road at speed anyway. Start too low and things only get lower..

51" is high? The cayman r I am about to trade in is 50.6 and that has VERY LOW clearance. The 991TT is longer and wider so by ratio should appear even flatter ...

Ground clearance, not vehicle height.

Put some hydraulics on it while you are at it.
