Default New Turbo in the Garage

I traded up from my '13 991S cab to 991 Turbo. I was in the dealership on Christmas Eve to check out the car on the floor. I dont know why but something came over me and I bought it. Crazy I know. I had just put a build together for a TTcab with my sales rep a couple days before. Anyway, having had NA 911's from 964, 993 996, 997 and a 991, plus an Panamera 4S, I always wanted a TT. Couldn't wait for the cab I guess.

What a car!! Its addictive. I look for reasons to go to the grocery store for my wife, pick up the kids from their friends, drop them of to tennis.

Here are some quick pics

Hey Joe. Great Avatar - families are awesome!

Nice car. They (the dealer) ordered mine Basalt Black thinking I could never resist it when it arrived. Is that Black or Basalt Black?

That's pretty. We must have a few interior shots though Love seeing the Cubs sticker on the fridge.

Thanks guys. Balsalt Black, Qverdraft. It really is a great color. Its about 25 degrees out and I need to wash it. Everything about the car is sick from the LED headlight to the wheels! Love it.

FYI, in the second picture, that is antifreeze that overflowed. The car had 4 miles on it when I got it. The dealer is about 6 miles from house so it probably was the first time it got hot. From what the tech told me, they are experiencing this on a lot cars from the factory. Just overfilled. You would think that their quality standards would be point on with fluids.

I'm really surprised nobody mentioned to put clear side markers! It's like a religion around here...

The dealer told me that clear side markers were not available in the LED's. Has that changed? If you have the LED headlights the side marker is LED as well.

Very nice looking automobile. Enjoy it and I am sure others would enjoy your initial driving impressions as well as reports in the future.

Be safe and enjoy the evening.

Thanks for the nice comments. One quick impression after driving it for a week; it is how incredibley quick past the speed limit with a notion of going 45, I have to constantly keep my eye on the speedo, unlike the 991S that I replaced where I could guage the speed, Maybe its the getting used to factor. In any case it is blast to drive.

I need to check on the side marker in clear with the LED's. Im scheduled to go in on Wednesday. I'll let you know and send some pictures.
