"991 Turbo production starts aprox. 6-8 weeks after 991 Turbo S production. Just as a hint. So the 991 Turbo S will be available first.
Clever Porsche. So they're going for the Turbo S 'money grab' first and then, after they swamp the market, they'll cater to clients who want the Turbo. Goodbye to any possible exclusivity associated with the Turbo S, Hello to generation 2 and 3 versions of the Turbo as Porsche claws its way to 220,000 production units per year. Thank goodness there are companies like Ferrari who pledge to restrict production to 7,000 units a year. All round drivability and reliability is Porsche's best feature, jaw-dropping depreciation it's worst. I reckon the 991 Turbo S will depreciate about $50K after one year of ownership.

My dealer does not confirm the Turbo S is first. I doubt they will drop 50K the first year. A 07 or 08 still brings about 50K less than they were new. I owned both. Ferrari would produce more if they could sell more. My 991 turbo is about 165 my 458 was 275. Apples and hand gernades. It will not be a 115 car in a year.
