I'd imagine a fully loaded Turbo is going to run $200k before all is said and done.

I'm guessing that based on the increase in 991 over 997 on lesser models and the fact that this new Turbo will have some new options that weren't previously available.

I think the back end treatment with the exhaust tips an intercooler exit look really good and I love the fact that it's a Widebody+

Porsche's 991 Turbo microsite has been released...I too didn't know where to post 991 Turbo stuff so just stuck it in 997 Turbo for now.

After Porsche finally started using the 'proper' way for setting up a sequential PDK-box for the gearlever itself (push for down, pull for up) on the GT3, the one on the Turbo (S) is the 'wrong' way around again... if my eyes don't deceive me!

German logic, anyone?

PDK S is the standard way. Doesn't look like the non "S" pdk will change.

According to the UK site, the base prices with VAT are:
GT3: 98134
Turbo: 115061
Turbo S: 137641

Extrapolating this info relative to the US cost of a GT3, the USA costs should be approx:
Turbo: 153K
Turbo S: 183K

As much as I hate the lack of sport buckets in the GT3, the GT3 is clearly the best value 991 offered today and will also retain more $ at resale.

jeez, that sounds like a whole lot of techno-gadgetry. While I can appreciate technology, this reads like a space ship not a car.

lack of manual means I won't be interested.

Based on info in the other thread and this one, looks like I was wrong!!

A haldex? A bloody haldex? I loathe it since my first S3. Loathe it.

Then again I always hated Porsche's 4wd cars so..

So it appears the 991T doesnt have PDK-S or the heavily reworked 9000rpm GT3 engine at this stage.
It is PDK only as is the 991TTS and we supose the 991 GT2.
It does have a super wide body and we assume carries another 120kg weight.
4WS as with the GT3 is standard as we will suppose is dynamic engine mounts and sports exhaust.
CL wheels only on 181k TTS

The 991TT 0-100 looks comparable to the GT3 (3.5 seconds) and the Ring time of the 991TTS with approx 100 more bhp will be the same I should imagine as the 991 GT3.....but the base price is 35% higher

Standing back a bit it seem that apart from this being underwhelming tech wise (bladder controlled front air dam doing nothing to inspire me) no tri turbo etc.

Apart from supporting the fact that Porsche are clearly loosing the plot it provides a verysound arguement for making the 991 GT3 look very good "value" and much more desirable (looks and standard specs wise) IMHO.

I guess they are cars for very different markets...
