Turbo S, How thirsty?
#18
I use 100 octane fuel 100% of the time.
Everytime I drive my car, I really dont worry about the MPG. I never got these cars for MPG. I did have a prius back in the day and regretted every minute of the day getting 50 mpg.
I had a Taycan Turbo S and regretted charging it every minute of the day.
I get 17-25 MPG on my TTS and call it my modern day Prius on NOS and Coke, times 10. yeah............

I log every fill up (actual miles and actual gallons at the pump) on all my vehicles. In nearly 20,000 on my 991.1 Turbo S I have a lifetime average of 17.4 mpg. I have done a couple tanks that were 25+ on mostly highway. I did one track day (~100 miles) and got 9 mpg. In the mountains I get 11~15. Around town I get 15~17. The car was stage 3 for the first 8,000 miles and has been stage 4 for the last 12,000 miles.

I've looked at the milage on the screen a few times, but in reality I never check it and don't care. I didn't buy this car for milage unless you're measuring smiles per mile.

We're very much still WIP re tuning here but ~15ish over a tank of e85 on a 12 injector 4L setup while doing some spirited driving over desolate highways and mountain back roads. I think it's skewed by the amount of pavement i'm scrunching up like folds on a mastiff as i go though - treadmill effect adds up over all those miles
