Default Polishing scratches on windshield

I need to polish out some scratches on my windshield caused by the wiper. Can definitely be felt running your fingernail over them. Never have had to do this. Any recommended products?

I've always used this product for fine polishing, it's very soft and has worked well for me.
Toothpaste could also be an option for fine polishing, particularly on glass.
Now, I'm not saying it will take out something you can actually feel so it may not meet your needs.
(maybe a new WS?)

I've already used 4000grit 3M Trizact discs on a polishing machine. This was when a wiper blade came off and the arm put a nice groove in the windshield. It didn't come out perfect, but was much improved.

If the scratch is deep enough to feel with your fingernail, it's almost certainly not going to polish completely out. It might look a little better such that you can live with it, but some people can't "un-see" such things. It's taken me many years of practice to be able to do that most of the time.

I’ve tried various techniques all of them with a very low effort-to-result ratio.

Interested in techniques that work though.

If there were effective solutions for removing glass scratches, it would be well known in car forums, and a service provided by all detailers.

Not necessarily. It all depends upon the imputed labor rate times hours and when that rate exceeds a windshield replacement. And also the automotive context.

Not necessarily, but quite likely.

What if the context is: end user cost of a new windshield installed is $3k? Leaves a lot of room for labor to polish.
