Default A 991 Turbo Build from up north

I had the pleasure of acquiring this beautiful 991.1 Turbo S this last fall. Very excited to be diving into this project, definitely a bucket list car!

.

White on Garnet with what I was told to be a Cicio750 kit
- this car has traded a few hands and I'm guessing a few parts too -

What does this turbine look like to you? 🤔

- Turbos, IPD Plenum/Y, CSF IC's, Pro Meth Ki, Vossens,

I wanted to make sure I took ownership of the setup and get things sorted for altitude and fuel.

First Step: Call Sam - I know this is just basically Copy Paste Praise but I am so thankful for your hand on this project! Absolutely thrilled!

A few edits were made
- Kline Headers
- ByDesign / Tial Inlets

The meth injection was a bit odd -
A really basic 4psi switch? Single nozzle (4)
This will be switched out to dual nozzle (12), a higher output pump, VC50 Controller

Hoping to have this sorted in the week or so and we'll get some proper dyno runs in!

Custom meth tank by Rieger Automotive to make things a bit more tidy in the front - super pleased with the finished product!

A pump with not the right output:

On the not so performance / adding weight side of things -

A little HiFi action is going in:
Focal Utopia: TBM's, 3's, 8's, 10's, and a #7 3" in the front center.
BRAX DSP, MX4 PRO's x2, and a Helix P1 for the 10's.

Maybe we'll look at a different placement for the amps in the future - thoughts on the weight distribution?
Roughly 50lbs of amp up there now.

. . .

Next up will be:
991.2 Wheel + PCM4 update - Thanks to Testdrivescotland on Youtube!

  • Part Number: 53041014895 53041014894
  • Brand: BorgWarner
  • Factory 911 turbo compressor housing. Could be bone stock, could have a different wheel inside.

Possibly an upgrade to a 991.2

That’s a stock turbo with a larger compressor wheel added to it. A nice upgrade.

Nice stereo! I have the bose so have considered doing a swap.

i have a white 991.1 also, and surprisingly when I got it was tuned by Cicio. I did not like the tune and have been working with Sam for a year or so now.

similar setup to what you have. Cheers
