My track tech just did mine, along with a Fabspeed exhaust. He said the ICs were a PITA. I'll see if I can get some more pictures from him of the process. I just have before/after, he said it mostly came down to how the angling of the hoses fit and forget what he said was the trick to make it work.

I did my Tial intercoolers and they were not fun to say the least. Lot's of trimming and weather strips and cussing going on.

The DO88 complete kit with Y and intake hoses fit like OEM. Has its own CF inlets , etc. Unbolt and bolt back. Just mark the nut locations in the aluminum cage before you take the stock IC’s out since there is so much room in the slots.

I should have got those, I just got a really good deal on some slightly used CSFs.

I put my CSF coolers in as part of a Stage 3 build with D088 hoses. It wasn't bad. Very happy with the results. See if this helps any.

I will tell you, it's worth the headache. I can't imagine NOT getting a tune at this point.
Let me know if you need more info, I found a before/after set of pics of how they fit, at least.
I may ask if I can give you his email and see if he'll give you some tips. He at least knows how to do it now!

Here's some before and after, as well as a side-by-side comparison of the different angles and sizes of the OEM vs. CSF I/Cs.

Here are some notes we sent to Fabspeed, who I bought the CSFs from:
The CSF intercoolers did not fit as expected, either. Although they imitated the design of the OEM intercoolers, they simply did not fit the factory brackets. The factory hoses connected without issue. But the probes were simply not going to fit on both factory brackets, at the same time. I was forced to make a choice; fit to the top bracket, or the lower bracket, but not both. When I attached it to the lower bracket, the position caused the lower air hose to crimp. When I attached it to the upper bracket, neither hose crimped. But there was no way the factory lower bracket was EVER going to fit the IC probes. In fact, the factory bracket on the passenger side did not fit back onto the unibody, either. Therefore, I had to "make adjustments" to the factory bracket, to get it to fit back onto the car so I would be able to attach the fender liner.
Between the upper brackets fitting and lower brackets providing plenty of pressure on the lower probes, the IC's are well secured. Also, the plastic feed funnel and exhaust funnels did not properly fit to the new IC's.
