Hey guys, on my Audi I knew it was a no no to start my car or even have the battery on with the bumper off because it will mess up a bunch of sensors that need to be recalibrated at the dealer. Is this the same deal with the 991 Tt?

No issue. I just plugged the taillights back in, zip-tied the rear plate on and went for a drive.
I think there was a dash message about the spoiler, but it went away as soon as everything was back together.

Thank you, I had everything put together and was itching to start it up in the garage. Fired right up.

Yup...I've started mine a few times while she's been in spa treatment.

Rear bumper only has parking sensors, camera and license plate lights. Everything else is on the body. You can also run with spoiler detached but it will give an error when it should deploy.
