Default Adaptive Cruise Control - AWESOME?

Do you guys have ACC? Is it awesome, especially in bumper to bumper traffic?

Or don’t you like it?

Wow! Is the system on the Turbo and the Merc the same, or are they different?

One of the only options the original owner didn’t get on my build. Wish he did.

It works great, but I don’t use it in bumper to bumper traffic.

Great on long trips on the interstate....bumper to bumper would not be a good use

What? I have it on my Mercedes, too, and love it...especially in bumper to bumper traffic!

Had it on my RS5, have it on my tt. I don’t like to have to use it, but in moving traffic it’s invaluable. Not bumper to bumper.

Yes agree..this I feel is where it really shines..it will even allow you to come to a complete stop behind the vehicle in front and it will proceed once again on it's own as long as the stop is within the time threshold...don't recall but it's like 20 secs or so...not to mention the collision avoidance it provides (auto braking)

It sounds like a must have option!

Must make the pain of the daily grind much less of a pain...

I’m thinking the 4 hour 100 mile drive from NYC to the Hamptons on a Friday in the summer...

It would be of no use in the trek to the Hamptons on the weekend. Not for use in bumper to bumper traffic. Didn't order it on my TTS, but have it on our sedans.

Had it on my first one, not on the second, not on the third and would NEVER get it again. I think it looks stupid on the car, and I have never used cruise in any car I have owned, I thought it was just me until I went to a porsche owners club meeting, there were others.
