Default Viper Alarm

Hi guys....what alarm would you have installed on a brand new Turbo? I’ve heard that Viper is top of the line? Any help appreciated.....

IMO it’s a waste of money.

More cars have been destroyed by car alarm and so called high end stereo "installers" than anything else. The factory alarm is just as good as anything you can buy.

^^^ Agree with above posts.
I had one installed on my company car, and after three years, the alarm caused the electrical system to shut down.
True story!

I'd never install an aftermarket alarm on any car that already has one from factory.

Factory alarm fine. Don't leave anything tempting in your parked car in sight. That should do it.

Does anyone do aftermarket alarms anymore?

I don’t want my car stolen but I live in a pretty nice area, and I do have insurance.

Not I . . . The last thing I did was a LoJack on my e39 M5, nothing since then - Good luck, KH
