New member intro - 991.1TT
All,
Wanted to make a quick introduction to myself as a new member of the forum. As a kid growing up, I remember having pictures a yellow 993 Turbo snipped from an issue of Car and Driver magazine taped to my bedroom wall (which I had one day aspired to achieve). Life, of course took many different turns for me, some of which led to some rough times. Less than 20 years ago, I found myself sleeping in a van and rummaging through mailroom recycling bins looking for Bally Total Fitness guest passes so I could have a place to shower. Fast forward the clocks to the present day, I was blessed with a loving wife, an adorable son and on June 26th, 2019, took delivery of a white 991.1TT. Having owned some fantastic vehicles from the Acura Integra Type R to the BMW M3, this one in particular is significant in that it brought me back full circle to what I had dreamed of as a child.
Looking forward to learning and sharing on this forum.

Wow, what a great story. I'm glad you've come this far from those dark days. I know it wasn't easy, but I'm sure you can appreciate every aspect of life right now.
Keep up the good work Kenny, your car is beautiful man.

Wow that's quite a journey Kenny! Must make getting to this point even sweeter. Congrats on the car but on life in general. Enjoy it, she looks great. These TT's are awesome.
