Default Real HP gains on COBB????

Hey all,
I am curious if anyone has any real numbers on the COBB tuner?
I see the dyno's that are put out by COBB and I just see % over stock. I am actually curious to know what the real numbers are.
What the stock whp numbers are and what a stage 1 COBB tune and stage 2 COBB tune (and even stage 3 numbers)?
Anyone can help?
thanks....

I am about to do Cobb Pro Tune stage 3 on an Exclusive Cab; I will do stock dyno run then after upgrades and tune.
‘Will let you know how it works out in 10 days.

I've been looking for that info high and low as well. No real data or numbers. :/
I've seen a few 60-130 dragy times though. Stage 3 was int he 6.8s range for stock turbos.

Not a 991, but my 997.2 TTS gained at least 100 WHP on just an OTS Stg. 2 93 oct. tune.

Stock these are in the 475 whp range. Let's even say it's close to 500 whp with great conditions. ...During very good conditions (DA was only like 450), my dragy 1/4 and trap speed calculted 601 WHP.

Nothing more than the OTS tune and my Europipe Exhaust. No bolt ons.

Call Sam at By Design and he can give you real numbers. My car stock with 93 octane was 534 whp, after Kline headers, Kline exhaust, 100 cats, BD intercoolers, IPD intake and COBB it makes 656 whp on 93 and 705 whp on 100 octane, no meth, it's a 2017 turbo s

Those numbers are pretty impressive, what dyno? Do you have a graph?

Hey guys.

js, The access port has been around for quite some time and if you look there’s lots of information on what it can do at every stage and support record setting performance. Dyno charts before and after etc. OTS maps are pretty good and in many cases custom tuning can safely get even more power as it is calibrated to your exact car and hardware for maximum efficiency. You are welcome to reach out anytime. I believe I have before and after of every stage on every model. Several of them in fact. I’s be happy to answer any specific questions you have and support my friends over at Cobb. If you would like to independently test anything I’d be willing to support you on that and give you a full guarantee as well! I think the AP is a great device with lots of capabilities and you’re in control as much as you want to be especially if you have good support. Hope that helps and feel free to reach out.

My 991.1tts yielded:
480whp bone stock
500whp bone stock with cobb ots stage 1 93oct
490whp on stock tune with headers & catless exhaust
525whp with headers, catless exhaust, ipd y-pipe & plenum, awe intake and cobb ots stage 2 93oct tune

On my 991.1tts, cobb ots stage 1 93 was good for ~20whp, and cobb ots stage 2 93 (with supporting mods) was good for ~30whp.

It is worth noting that - on a 991.2tts (or 997.2tts), cobb ots maps will yield much greater gains; close to 100whp. This is because both the 997.2 and 991.2 have considerably bigger turbos compared to the 991.1.

Furthermore the 991.2 turbo s has bigger turbos than the "base" 991.2 turbo.

Those HP numbers are pretty close to what Cobb claims. What were the torque gains?

For stage 2 93, Cobb claims +16.04% gain.
So from 490whp (stock tune with bolt ons), I should go to 568.5whp.
That is not at all the case. I went from 490 to 525whp and 595wtq. Everything constant of course (same dyno, temperature, fuel, tires, weight, etc.)

Not close to what they claim. But I’m not complaining; I came from a 991 gt3.

TFK, wow thanks for the info. I did not realize that the turbos on the .2 were bigger. I would have thought the 997.2 were bigger than the 997.1, but i didnt think they would be bigger than the 991.1

another great reason for this group... all the knowledge

Great info.

Leads you you to ponder if only interested in the tune itself with no other modes than gains are minimal. Imo.
