Default Speedster

Was offered a Speedster today, fully speccable, $200k over sticker. Have no idea if that's a good deal or not based on market, but it's well beyond what I'm willing to do. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can connect you with dealer.

Yep - my response as well...

The GT2's were MSRP + $200k a year or so ago and are now going for just a bit more than sticker...

Not that I'd jump on it, but interesting reference point. Thx for posting.

Lmfao 200K OVER. I really can’t imagine anyone wanting to pay 400K for a GT3 variant regardless of how much disposable income they have.

From an an objective standpoint, the GT2RS is far more capable and cost significantly less.

I could be wrong though. There’s a sucker born every day. I don’t know if the Speedster would be the next carrera GT.

I'm sure there are buyers at $200k over but one of them won't be me. Nice car but silly price.

Plus 1 on the GT2RS. A lot of trick technology upgrades AND 690 hp. No brainer.

Closer to $500K based on its MSRP.

Anything over MSRP is not a good deal IMO, but that is just me.

Had an allocation at MSRP +100K from my dealer where I thought I had a great relationship (six cars in six years). Turned it down. It just seems like double dipping - the first for Porsche AG and the second for the dealer - too greedy. I am loyal to the brand, but one never feels good about a purchase, no matter how fine the product, when you are being hosed.

Maybe Barry Bonds will jump on that, he used to be a Speedster Guy.

As a former minor league baseball player and career engineer that is wayyyy outta my price point lmao!

Wow I thought it started 200k and some change. That’s even worse.

Not it sure if you share my sentiments towards the hysterical ADM or just being sarcastic? Honestly can’t distinguish since it’s the internet.

Dealer email today and said $150k over MSRP would do it - and that they have several offers at $100k over MSRP
