So, took the S down to the dealer today for a malfunctioning mirror and have made a couple of interesting discoveries.
1) All 2019 991.2 Turbo S models have the Exclusiv tune in them (610hp...) and,
2) Due to an ECU change from 2018 to 2019, it is not a compatible upgrade and is not available as a re-flash to us 2018 (and earlier) users...
Bummer.

I do not know. But I have known the guys at MCL for almost 30 years and they would more than readily take my money if they could.
I saw another post where someone was getting 1/4 mile times in a 2019 that were lower than previous years; this may in fact be the reason why.
BMW claimed 575hp for the 2014 F10 M5 Competition Package, when in fact that car produced north of 630 at the flywheel; Porsche claims 580 for the 991.2 TTs and it is in fact around 625...
Who knows such things as to why they do what they do...

I can certainly believe this...this car rocks..pulls WAY harder than my 991.1 in stock form...and I've only tasted 4000 rpm so far (I have 300 miles on it )

With that said, I'm now eagerly searching for a lightly used 2019 TTS.

Dead on correct. I’ve been drag racing since 1978. Have made 1000’s of passes from 14 seconds to mid 8’s up to 184mph. That generally gives me a “ballpark “ guess on what something I own should run if I know the HP and weight at my elevation . My F90 bone stock was rated at 600hp at the wheels and weighed 4300lbs. I hoped for low 11”s at low 120’s. It went 11.2 at 124-126. Bought the 2019 TTS. Expected 10.8 at 128 bone stock. Ran 10.4 at 131mph over and over...... NO WAY 580hp does that at 3570lbs plus me. 625ish at the engine is my guess. Plus I’ve seen 20psi boost peaks.

Nice to know that when the Factory says it has 580 thunder ponies, it really means 625...

You know, it's funny you say that - a friend and I went up to Squamish a couple of weeks ago and we didn't see a single Horseman, however, the next day in the news we see a guy in a Mclaren get absolutely nailed in Lions Bay. Governance is ruining this Province; at least in Alberta you get an extra 10km/h before jail and inpoundment...
