I have seen this car in person. It is beautiful and in fantastic condition. The only thing it is "missing" is a CPO extended warranty. But given it is not being sold by Porsche that isn't an option.

COULD HAVE BEEN A MODEL DELETE CAR OR 911 BADGED ORIGINALLY AND RESELLER WANTS MORE IMPACT WITH TURBO S MODEL DESIGNATION ON THE BACK........CHECK ORIGINAL BUILD THROUGH PORSCHE DELAER WITH VIN FOR SERVICE HISTORY AND OPTIONS LIST......

AS PART OF THE DEAL SEE IF BMW DELAER WILL HAVE IT CERTIFIED BY LOCAL PORSCHE DEALER.....MAYBE THEY HAVE A RECIPROCAL DEAL, ETC..... FOR DOING THIS WITH TRADE-INS.....NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU ASK...

Interesting about the rear badge. It is definitely not on as OEM. Perhaps the dealer as part of the deal would credit the cost to have new badges placed in proper position.

It appears from the build sheet that the car came with rear model designation painted, not deleted. So at some point it was replaced... clearly without a template. I wonder why it was replaced.

it would be great to bring it home and see the look on my wife's face!!!

forgot to mention - the car has a complete clear bra on it. maybe they had to remove the lettering for the clear bra? It's actually a really great job on the clear bra much better than the one on my 458

You should drive it. The TTs is awesome. If you drive it, you will probably buy it. Best DD - hands down. Forget the post about options. Its a TTS - it comes loaded. Why do you want a manual for your DD? Get yourself fixed but this looks like a great car. Can probably get price down a bit but its not way over priced for a .2. If you're planning to keep for a long time, you will be happy. Of course you can probably save 40-50K by going with a 2017S. No slouch either. But this is in a different league.

thanks for your thoughts. i took it on a test drive and felt a little to "GT" for me. Plus was not as dramatic and exciting as my 458. great car though.and the 458 wouldn't be as good as a DD that's for sure.
the dealer offered to let me take it home for the weekend but i declined because i was leaning against buying it and it didn't feel right.
does anyone have any guesses what the trade in value of the car was? That is the dealer took it in on a trade in. i'm wondering what they paid for it. $120?

What the heck does daily driving have to do with a manual? Even if I did work/commuted I would not hesitate if I had a 991.2 manual, and it may make the car seem more sporty and less GT, especially with a pair of high flow cats. Don't get me wrong, if they offered a new Turbo S with a stick the Cab version might be in my garage now.
