Wow!! How long did it take you? And what was the best performance enhancement you noticed the most during the long drive.? And last how was the overall gas mileage and inside cabin noise?

Stunning car. What options do you have ? Love the Miami blue and wheels /yellow calipers combination.
Was there any option that you thought was particularly useful on you 24 hour Grand Tour? Thanks CB

Sounds like a great time. Glad you didn't run into any issues--I've refrained from long trips myself after my recent experience trying to find a tire shop able to remove centerlocks to repair a tire puncture...

I've seen this mentioned a few times. What is the issue with this, the lack of a shop having an adequate torque wrench to properly secure the wheels? Or having a long enough breaker bar to get them off? The removal tool is in the trunk.

The first day when I picked up my 2014 TTS I went to the local tool store and bought a collapsible torque wrench/breaker bar. It would be a big heavy thing to carry around on a long trip, but you could just carry the breaker bar with you to get the wheel off and back on. Torque a wheel to the proper setting then put the breaker bar on it to get a feel for how tight it needs to be. Look up the next Porsche dealer on your trip and stop in to get it set exactly.

My issue on a long trip would be the tire noise. At least with the tires I have. I have to turn up the volume so loud to hear the radio properly that I would have to wear ear plugs all day on a long trip. I might take it on one some day, but I also have a 2014 Cayenne GTS with air suspension, and a lot more room for long trips, which seems more suited to the task.
