Default Can anyone explain the TTS 'exclusive'?

As far as I can tell, for 27 extra horsepower, you shell out something like $125K over what a comparably equipped TTS would cost.

Why would anyone do this? Or is that why they are only selling 500 of them

Why would anyone think we didn’t dicuss this two years ago when these were announced? If you were really interested in the answer you would have used search.

Here are some of the longer threads from a year ago. Build vids are fun to watch.

Thanks for the information and thanks for the chastising, that really helped me out. But at least you feel better about yourself.

Lets see if I can help. I bot one last November. First your are correct 27more horse ,this power kit not available on other turbos, lots of carbon fiber, roof, front lid and other areas. Unique leather interior treatment and details like copper woven into carbon fiber in the interior, first time this has ever been done. Special wheels not available on the other Turbos models, in the case of the Golden yellow metallic special color created for this series and not available as PTS on other models. As you said production was limited to 500 units worldwide, approx. 113 delivered to the U.S. Many items standard that were optional on other Turbos( they should do this for the price difference of about 70k). The reason I was attracted to the car is the uniqueness of it with many bespoke features. I posted pics of my car in early '19 which shows a lot of the features, check it out. I hope this helps!

I think it's a beautiful car and indeed exclusive in all its details. Here is the beauty of this type of offering from Porsche, if you don't want it don't buy it.
It always seems when Porsche offers this type of vehicle there are always buyers.

I say, enjoywhat's offered no need to slam it. If I could have afforded it I would have definitely looked into it. It is a beautiful vehicle.

You are not alone, I don’t get them either. You can get a beautiful TTS at a discount. But there are people who are really into cars with a LE badge and will pay a premium. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

everything is judged differently, many believe spending this kind of money on our porsche's is ludicrous

but for some it's worth every penny, and I'm one of them

I definitely see the beauty and value in the exclusive build, it's very cool

different strokes for different folks indeed

Hey I didn't mean to slam the car - I think the gold ones are absolutely gorgeous. I just don't get the price.

I don't own one so I'm not offended. But you won't see many on the road so hence the price is about exclusivity and the options. If that's important to you and you have the $'s why not. Is the 50th which is a glorified S worth what they are retailing for ?

I would rather have a TTSE than a GT2RS.

As mentioned, there are some details that are actually unique. Seems like some of those features you see at a car show in 30 years, and everyone's jaws drop. Here's an example of a fellow rennlister who added the leather lined frunk to his exclusive. Obviously over the top, but if I were getting this car, I'd do the same. Just makes it even more "yours" than a regular bespoke build.

This is one of those things that makes no sense on "paper" (27HP for $100K+) and then the regular TTS is also amazing - but when you see the TTSE in pics or even more in person - wow! Then you start to understand it.

This is definitely accurate. The car looks SO special in person.
