Can anyone explain the TTS 'exclusive'?

Can anyone explain the TTS 'exclusive'?
As far as I can tell, for 27 extra horsepower, you shell out something like $125K over what a comparably equipped TTS would cost.

Why would anyone do this? Or is that why they are only selling 500 of them

Here are some of the longer threads from a year ago. Build vids are fun to watch.

I think it's a beautiful car and indeed exclusive in all its details. Here is the beauty of this type of offering from Porsche, if you don't want it don't buy it.
It always seems when Porsche offers this type of vehicle there are always buyers.
I say, enjoywhat's offered no need to slam it. If I could have afforded it I would have definitely looked into it. It is a beautiful vehicle.

everything is judged differently, many believe spending this kind of money on our porsche's is ludicrous
but for some it's worth every penny, and I'm one of them
I definitely see the beauty and value in the exclusive build, it's very cool
different strokes for different folks indeed

I don't own one so I'm not offended. But you won't see many on the road so hence the price is about exclusivity and the options. If that's important to you and you have the $'s why not. Is the 50th which is a glorified S worth what they are retailing for ?

I would rather have a TTSE than a GT2RS.

As mentioned, there are some details that are actually unique. Seems like some of those features you see at a car show in 30 years, and everyone's jaws drop. Here's an example of a fellow rennlister who added the leather lined frunk to his exclusive. Obviously over the top, but if I were getting this car, I'd do the same. Just makes it even more "yours" than a regular bespoke build.

This is definitely accurate. The car looks SO special in person.
