Default Ordering 991.2 turbo still possible?

When does production end? Is it still possible to order one the way I want?

I didn't think there were much of anything left at this point, jump on it if you find one though!

They are still building them, you just need to find a dealer that has an allocation to get one.

You might want to think about trying to find a low mileage preowned one speced the way you want. Just a thought.

I am of the thought that a well ordered vehicle at this late stage could have the makings of a future classic.

Pursue your order with deliberate expedience and let us know when it arrives!

I just ordered a new Turbo a few weeks ago. My SA said that allocations are tough to come by but that Porsche will be taking 991.2 orders through May.
Good hunting. It took me 4 months to secure an allocation.
Cheers,

Cheers,
Was that indicating that there will not be a 2020 Turbo, or just the end of building the 2019?

Good morning Bruce H:
The end building of the Turbo S or Turbo 991.2 is some date in May. Only 500 cars are being produced for the entire world so allocation is low. The new 992 Turbo S/Turbo cars will be a 2021 model at the earliest. I am not a 992 fan as of yet. I actually prefer the 991.2 appearance and interior better over the 992 and don't want to wait another 18 months for a car. My local dealer just called me up last week saying that they finally got an allocation. Prior to this however, I met a great guy here on Reenlist that helped me secure an allocation down in Florida so I have already ordered my car. If you are serious about getting a 991.2 Turbo I can pass on to you my SA's contact information so that you may secure their current allocation which is the Tysons Corner Porsche in Vienna VA. Just PM me and I will introduce you.

Thanks Gordy but I already ordered one. It just rolled off the production line a week ago and I should have it next month! So 500 of the 2019 Turbo and Turbo S...that's not very many.

Bruce

Does the cab depreciate more than the coupe? What would you us recommend for someone that MIGHT sell 5-10 years from now?

That's got to be a trick question...buy whichever one you think you'll enjoy most

The cabs do a hair better than the coupes, but they are also higher MSRP. There are fewer of them though, so there's always that.

Despite the low production numbers, at this moment there are 8 2019 Turbo S (Coupe and cab) cars in stock for sale at Champion Porsche.
