Wheel Bearings - tracking

CL Wheel Bearings - tracking

Anyone know when they typically go out with track use on R tires. I'm sure it varies some but have seen a post saying 6k miles ish ! ? What upgrades are recommended instead of OEM, any ideas, GT3 maybe?

The GT3 bearings are bigger in past generations and the carrier is different in those from the turbo's, not sure about 991 version.
6k on the track is quite a few days, are you having bearing issues? Curious because if I had one I'd definitely track it.

Been tracking and racing mine mine with slicks and R tires & competition suspension past couple of years and have no issues so far. Car has 11k miles on it.

IIRC, owner’s manual has recommended bearing change interval for tracked Turbos.

It's preventative maintenance, but it does say to change them with track use at 6k or 10k track miles, not total miles ...it's in the owner's manual.

Thanks All, I'm at 12k total, about 5k are track so no symptoms but looking at preventative or better yet an upgrade. Looks like GT3 PN is different. Will post if upgrade found.
