Default GT Silver 991.2 TTS

Hey there! I've been lurking around here for months as I contemplated my first (and second) Porsche purchases and really appreciate all the helpful discussions and information. Time for my first post!

Initially, I bought a 997.2 TTS black on black Cab back in September. Great car but for various reasons I decided to sell it and buy the car I *really* wanted, a 991.2 TTS coupe.

I recently acquired a 2017 GT Silver Metallic TTS - purchased CPO from Porsche Santa Barbara with about 10k miles a couple months back. Here's a brief list of my requirements:
  • 991.2 TT or TTS coupe
  • Under 20k miles
  • 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats
  • Burmester stereo
  • Entry and Drive
  • Lane Change Assist
The car came with a few extras which I have learned to love too.

I was waiting for my garage to be finished (new paint, epoxy floor and cabinets) before I posted some pics here. Check out my new ride!

great car, well done!

I'm jealous of your garage, I thought about doing the same to mine but I have so much stuff in there, I'm too lazy to move it out and go through it all, then wait a week for the floor to dry, and move some of it back in

I was surprised when they said I couldn't drive back into the garage for a week. Agreed that the big hassle is moving everything out and back in though. The bonus is that you can throw away the 75% of junk you don't need and move back in the 25% that you actually use - then it really looks clean and tidy!

CONGRATS!!! Gorgeous Car in my favorite color. Question: Do the radar transmissions of the ACC, PAS and LCA Options on the TTS
interfere with the use of Radar Detectors such as the Valentine, and if so, how seriously are the Radar Detector readings impacted?

I've been meaning to pick up a radar detector but haven't tried it yet. That said, I'd be surprised since the radar bands used by police detectors are very specific...

I did throw away a lot of junk during the garage project but also built a second shed to store all the kid crap (bikes, etc) so can't really claim minimalism. It does feel nice to walk into garage and not see a ton of stuff though!

Definite upgrade in performance as well as comfort from the 997 to 991. I'm a tall guy so just having a couple more inches makes a huge difference.
