Missing those headlight washer nozzels?

I just took delivery of my Porsche TTS 991.2 and noticed that there are no washer nozzels for the headlights. In the Porsche Configurator they are shown in the pictures, so I figured they ought to be on the actual car. Am I missing something here?

Wow, that is awesome.....that was one of the most useless features put on any car. i have never used them on any car i have owned. finally, will no longer have that pimple....

If you drive your car in winter conditions, they're very useful. This photo was taken after driving my 997 turbo home on a snowy evening. You can clearly see the spray pattern and the effectiveness of the headlight washers.

What are people who drive in winter conditions supposed to do now? Carry a bottle of windex and a rag??

Thanks for the fast reply, guys.

Those little pimples actually mess up the flow of the front end contours, and is more visually appealing for me. My OP was more out of curiosity that perhaps Porsche made a tiny mistake on my build order by not including those sprayers.

Isn't there some sort of spray on material (or applied wax) that one can apply to the headlights that helps keep the snow from sticking on them?

Dennis C 02-05-2019 02:37 PM

I'm sure there's something. I've applied wax to my headlights over the years. Sometimes though, the snow and ice really sticks. I'm personally a fan of the headlight washers for their intended purpose, but I agree that the car looks better without them.

I use them for hwy tailgaters......

They make a mess and efficacy is questionable
