Rattling Noise
Porsche just replaced my wrinkled dashboard leather with brand new one in my 991.1 Turbo.
And of course now i have rattling sounds and seriously don't have the power to put the car again for another endless days at the dealership. Oh Mercy. |
So you're going to live with it until it drives you crazy and you end up selling a car you obviously care about. Man up, they did a sub-standard job and they need to make it right. And you deserve one of their better loaners during the interim!

I am not familiar with the wrinkled dash area. What part of the dash? I would take it back to the dealer as well.
|
Just remember that rattles only covered during OEM warranty. Once expired it's not covered by a CPO or an aftermarket.
|
I was told that Porsche North America does not cover any rattles and that any repair was done as a courtesy and absorbed by the local dealership. Any truth to that? |
Interesting. My dealer had fixed couple of rattles in my 2 last 911s (both under OEM warranty) with no questions asked. He just told me then that it won't be covered after OEM warranty expiry.
|
Yup same here. Had lots of rattles after warranty period. Traded it in today.
|
Traded for a T, correct? What's your impressions?
