Rattling Noise

Porsche just replaced my wrinkled dashboard leather with brand new one in my 991.1 Turbo.
And of course now i have rattling sounds and seriously don't have the power to put the car again for another endless days at the dealership.

Oh Mercy.

So you're going to live with it until it drives you crazy and you end up selling a car you obviously care about. Man up, they did a sub-standard job and they need to make it right. And you deserve one of their better loaners during the interim!

I am not familiar with the wrinkled dash area. What part of the dash? I would take it back to the dealer as well.

Just remember that rattles only covered during OEM warranty. Once expired it's not covered by a CPO or an aftermarket.

I was told that Porsche North America does not cover any rattles and that any repair was done as a courtesy and absorbed by the local dealership. Any truth to that?

Interesting. My dealer had fixed couple of rattles in my 2 last 911s (both under OEM warranty) with no questions asked. He just told me then that it won't be covered after OEM warranty expiry.

Yup same here. Had lots of rattles after warranty period. Traded it in today.

Traded for a T, correct? What's your impressions?
