Need Education on Stages
I have searched on RL and the general web to look for a good reference that compares the stage Upgrades.
Does anyone have a good comparison in chart form that compare each stage that looks like this:
.........….........What is modified ...............Typical HP improvement ..............Cost Range
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3
Thanks in advance

This information was provided to me from Sam by Design, he is very approachable and happy to discuss all of this over the phone:
Gains of stage 2: 80 hp and 120 tq
not sure about stages 3 & 4
Stage 1...Tuning
Stage 2...Adds Full Exhaust
Stage 3...Adds Intercoolers (optional IPD)
Stage 4...Adds Turbocharger Upgrade

It's simple but can get complicated. Claims, components and prices are all over the place. Also some talk about different octanes and or will discuss the MAX at that stage which can jump significantly with methanol injection. That said I think the stages in their traditional form are great because it helps see the path as far as cost and results. Especially if one wants to go in steps or not ever go backwards. I would be glad to answer your questions if you or anyone else would like to reach out any time! It all depends on your goals, budget and finding a trusted source to guide you. Many start at stage 2 or 3 and most keep going haha. These are great cars. Very capable and fun! Good luck.

Thanks...this is all real useful. I am trying to figure out what I have. My car I think came with Fabspeed intake, exhaust and Tune. So I am assuming I havet Stage 2+. Here is a picture of what I know.

I would do it in this sequence.
Stage 1 Exhaust (for optimum tuning full exhaust with sport or race cats should be on 1st)
Stage 2 Add Tune
Stage 3 as quoted above.
Stage 4 as above

Looks like the older piggy-back tune. Lots of advantages going with an Accessport and tune. But what really matters is if you like the way she feels now or need something.

I would do a Cobb Accessport just for the PDK Sequential Shift feature alone... And everything is a very nice bonus. ***Cobb PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the Sequential Shift feature available with High Torque/Aggressive gear changes***

I hve the accesport. The PDK tune is not available for the 991.2 TTS yet, correct? Any idea when that would be available?
