Transporting car to Florida

How much will it cost for gas/tolls/wear and tear, (lodging if stopping midway) plus depreciation for 1200 miles on the odometer?

Car transportation sometime is a "hit or miss", lots of headache if something happened, even minor accident. I say make a road trip out of it and enjoy it, that way you get to truly know and enjoy your car that you love.
There are some nice twistie, scenic drive going down south if you choose the right route (Deal gaps - tail of the dragon?). I agreed with Jim M, don't baby your car for the next owner. 1200mi is not much unless this is your DD, and it's the 1200mi that would put a lots of smile on your face. I have done it in a rental Mustang and had a lot of fun (can't imagine the fun with a Porsche Turbo). Let's put it this way, I would love to drive it down for you and buy my own ticket back

Not afraid of the cost of transport (if $1500 puts me in financial straights I need to sell It not drive it) or the miles I'll put on. I'm planning on keeping this car for a while as it is just perfect. I have a Europipe Exhaust plus a Cobb Stage 2 tune with PDK Upgrade. I'm already destined for jail at its current hp so don't feel I need anything new to replace it at this time that is faster.
I think I would really enjoy the drive. Still thinking it through. It's more about time right now than anything else.

What's the reservation in driving the car? This might be the only time where you get to drive it on a long distance drive which has it's own charm. I would rather spend that money on paint protection ( Ceramic coating/Xpel) or whatever you decides if not already done.
I have used Intercity 3/4 times without any concerns and the only time I used Plycar, I wasn't happy the way the car was transported. It got home fine but I had to help the driver (only guy) to unload it with many close calls either hitting something on the side or car bottoming out with it's low stance.
I'd rather drive and enjoy the time with the car.

Shipped my car from Boston to Naples in an enclosed trailer. Cost was about $1600, took them 3 days. My only advice would be to make sure you go over the car exterior/interior with the driver in detail. I did a quick review of the exterior when my car arrived. When I washed/waxed it a week later I saw a small nick on the wheel. Since I had not driven the car, it must have happened on the trailer. After a some back and forth with the trailer company, they pay to have the wheel refinished. If I every do that again, I will be much more particular in reviewing the car when it arrives.

Reliable has moved my cars several times without any damage. Sure they are more expensive, but after dealing with brokered transport of cars and the attendant messes they leave behind, I would never use a brokered transport again.
That said, just drive it! You will have fun and it is easy miles for the car.
Blue roads especially!
