Had some fun last night on the 101.

yes, but the 101 has too much traffic and is heavily patrolled, I drive it everyday, what fun are you are referring to?

I was referring to some fun that was had on the 101. I drive a tuned 991.2 GTS and ran into a 991.1 TTS cab.

Was hoping the driver was a rennlister.

It was right around Cactus heading north until Tatum. He was in the left lane and I was in HOV. Noticed the TTS. Paused and punched it. He followed.. There was also an i8 I was dusting non stop all the way from Thomas.. As soon as he saw the TTS and I go at it he gave up and exited.

The guy in the TTS was a good sport!
Stage 1 93 map from Cobb. Also have headers and bypass pipes. Dyno'd around 470whp/470tq on a conservative dyno.

Nothing crazy but not bad for the 3.0 putting down TTS power.. Weight was on my side given the RWD.

about a month ago I was waiting to get onto the 101 north from Cactus and a 911 pulled up behind me, it was early morning and not much traffic, there are two lanes on the onramp and we both punched it down the onramp, it was an adrenaline rush for sure and quite safe, being the only ones on the ramp, we slowed down once we got to the freeway and gave thumbs up to each other, it looked like a modded 991 with some graphics on the side of the car

Nice! I've got a 2017 GTS.

Haven't met any Rennlisters... Seen some 991s around town. Not familiar with any Porsche meet ups/shows.. Cars and Coffee is around every first Saturday. I miss the old spot.

Definitely PM me if you possibly want to attend something or go find some twisties!

done. I've found one other guy in my neighborhood with a 997, and another user with a 2018 T just a bit west. once I have the car, I'll organize something, or at least get us all to a first saturday
