Center lock socket size
 

Looking to purchase the precision breaker/torque wrench set fo the center lock "nut'...I see two drives sizes...1' and 3/4"...could anyone advise what the size of the socket that comes with the car is ?.

3/4" socket size. The best one is this one (most compact and lightest, fits in the frunk conveniently) (cheaper in the US).

If compactness is not important, there are non-collapsible ones that are cheaper. I bought a spare one at Canadian Tire for just over $100CAD on clearance (non-collapsible Mastercraft)

Ya I've found both on Amazon but they want $1,200 CDN for the 3/4" set and $700 CDN for the 1" set....3/4" must be in short supply so I'll likely go for the 1" and get an adapter..

I got the first on amazon after seeing these tools at two other turbo s owners homes, they work great and were reasonable, the breaker bar was 50 dollars delivered, and the KD torque wrench found on ebay and it was NEW, they said used but it was brand new, for 200 dollars

Torque wrenches should not be used as preaker bars

It's not such a hard rule with centerlocks because in most cases the torque to break the nut is about the same or even less than the torque used to tighten it (because of all the lubrication). So it's basically the same load as tightening just the other way and without exceeding any parameters of the wrench. To be extra-careful, you can also remove the torque measuring piece, which is in the handle, and use the remaining shorter bar if you are very strong or add a section of a pipe as extra lever (instead of the clicking handle) if you need extra help. I just use the handle from a floor jack when I need to. The ratchet head of the wrench can handle the breaking just fine.
